A delicious and sweet omega-3 side dish perfect for a cozy fall evening.
Cooking time: 60-70 minutes
8 medium yams
11/2 cups walnuts
2 tablespoons agave nectar
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake yams for 45-60 minutes until soft. Cover walnuts with agave nectar. Arrange on baking sheet, and bake for last 10 minutes with yams. Remove skin from yams, mash in casserole dish, and add crushed candied walnuts.
